„How many lives do you actually have?" I have had to answer this question many a time. Perhaps because not one of them fits into a single box.
I am an artist through and through – and I have always been more than just one thing at a time.
Born in 1975 into an old family of craftsmen, I grew up under the same roof as my father's joinery. The urge to find a solution for every problem was quite literally placed in my cradle. Craftsmanship remained the constant in my working life: I became a parquet layer, took on the technical management of a company and developed solutions for the most complex plans in large-scale projects.
My talent was noticed, and so I began to train clients all over the world – more than 5,000 people from the most varied cultural backgrounds. This is exactly where I learned what carries me to this day: to read people, to listen and to pass on knowledge in a way that truly lands. This journey around the world is also the origin of my consulting work – then as now: worldwide.
For over 20 years I have led a parallel life that only insiders know about. I create acts for mentalism, magic and hypnosis. In my performances I bring together illusion, manipulation and suggestive techniques to form moments that stay with you.
By the end of an evening's show, you – my audience – will have a sense of who I am. And one thing is just as certain: I know exactly who you are.
Mentalism is the art of reading patterns in people. Artificial intelligence is the art of reading patterns in data. For me it is the same curiosity – simply a different tool.
Today I help people and companies to understand AI not as a threat but as an amplifier – honestly, clearly and with a feel for what really matters.
